Our body needs the nutrients that are from organic foods, they can be good source of nutrients. Before committing on organic foods, we must know first the meaning of organic foods. As mentioned earlier, products that are organic must have no additives while the animals that will bring meat and dairy products must not be injected with any drugs or fattening hormones for its growth, these drugs can be harmful to those who will eat it.
Many people have the impression that natural products and organic products are the same; but they are not. They are two different things; the natural product label is being put in products that are made of natural ingredients but have some harmful chemicals in it while organic label is being put in products that have no chemicals that are harmful to the human’s body. Natural products does not connote that the product contains organic materials.
In medical studies, organic foods are being defined not on the substance of the product itself but because of the methods that farmers are using in their organic farms. The substance in the product or even in the food is really proven medically that it can affect the health of anyone who eat it and in the environment.
Organic crops must be grown in soil that is healthy and safe. Organic products are safe to eat because farmers are not allowed to use any chemical that can be harmful to the crops, chemicals like the fertilizers that are petroleum based, pesticides and GMOs.
Most doctors are advising everyone to change their diet from non-organic foods to organic foods, it is much healthier.
