You’d probably stay a night at a friend’s pad before reaching you destination. Don’t leave damage at your dog’s wake inside the house. House owners will be happy if their visitors take measures to prevent damage to their belongings.

The stay at a new house will be seem more homey when you some of your own things with you. Having some of your dog’s own stuff will help him feel more at home in the new pad. If your dog behaves and settles down, you and your friends have one less thing to worry about.
